Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms", "Agreement") carefully before using the CleanBot AI mobile application (the "App", "Service") operated by Michael Burrow, operating as CleanBot AI ("CleanBot AI", "we", "our", or "us").

Summary: By downloading or using CleanBot AI, you agree to these Terms. The App helps you clean up storage by removing duplicate photos and videos. Deleted files cannot be recovered. Premium features require a subscription through Apple’s App Store.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Michael Burrow grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

Install the App on iOS devices you own or control
Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes

This license does not allow redistribution or network-based sharing of the App.

3. Description of Service

Duplicate photo and video detection
Similar photo and screenshot identification
Photo and video compression
iCloud Drive and iCloud Photos cleanup
Storage analysis and statistics

4. User Responsibilities

IMPORTANT – DATA DELETION WARNING: Files deleted through the App cannot be recovered. We strongly recommend backing up important data before using cleanup features.

Review files carefully before deletion
Maintain backups of important data
Ensure you own or control deleted content
Comply with all applicable laws
Maintain device and Apple ID security

5. Subscriptions, Payments, and Purchases

5.2 Payment Terms

Renewal price matches original unless notified

5.4 Free Trial

Premium access during trial period
Automatically converts unless cancelled
Unused trial time is forfeited upon purchase

5.5 Managing Your Subscription

Open iOS Settings
Tap your name
Tap Subscriptions
Select CleanBot AI
Cancel or modify

5.6 Restore Purchases

Restore Purchases: Reinstalling the App or switching devices allows restoring purchases at no extra cost using the same Apple ID.

5.7 Cancellation

Cancel anytime
Access continues until period ends
No partial refunds

5.8 Refunds

Refunds must be requested directly from Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.

6. Intellectual Property

The App and its content are owned by Michael Burrow and protected by intellectual property laws.

No copying or redistribution
No reverse engineering
No derivative works
No resale or sublicensing

7. Prohibited Uses

Unlawful use
Unauthorized access
Service disruption
Deleting content you don’t own
Malicious or automated extraction

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

11. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount paid in the last 12 months or USD $100.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Jurisdiction lies with the courts of Cape Town.
